Nestled in the stunning Blue Ridge Mountains, Rumbling Bald is home to two championship golf courses—Apple Valley and Bald Mountain—offering a premier golf experience for players of all skill levels. Both courses boast a Golf Digest four-star rating and are meticulously maintained to provide world-class conditions year-round.

Bald Mountain Golf Course, designed by W.B. Lewis in 1968, has stood the test of time. Playing beneath the towering Bald Mountain itself, golfers enjoy breathtaking views and a unique layout featuring five par 5s and five par 3s, creating more opportunities to go for birdie or eagle. While the course is welcoming with accessible approaches to many greens, don’t let the shorter yardage fool you—narrow fairways and small greens demand precision and strategy, offering a challenge even for low-handicap players.

• Proper golf attire is required on the golf course, driving range, and putting green at all times. Prohibited attire includes:
• No Cutoffs, short shorts, tennis shorts, jeans of any kind, tank tops, track shorts, or halter tops
Proper footwear is required (metal spikes are prohibited)
