Description
The Champion Hills golf course was designed by master architect Tom Fazio as his home course and personal showcase. Sweeping vistas make the course as visually memorable as it is playable. Unlike many mountain courses, fourteen of the eighteen holes play from an elevated tee to a downhill fairway or green with no blind shots. Only one hole plays uphill from the tee to the green. Out of all the beautiful golf courses in North Carolina, Golf Digest rates Champion Hills in the top ten in 2003.
